Nothing
Into Something
It is
amazing how an artist can take a blank, white
canvas, imagine what he wants the end result to
be, and then by using the necessary tools and
actions, creates an ingenious masterpiece.
While
riding along the open stretched highway of 15-501
one Sunday evening, envisioning the beautiful
trees that lined the highway, and thinking about
Gods wondrous creation, I thought about how
blank the worlds landscape must have been
before creation. My husband, who is a
freelance illustrator, never ceases to amaze me
with his unique creativity to turn nothing into
something. While the thoughts were dancing
in my head, I wanted to find out what his mental
processes were in the beginning phase of his
exceptional masterpieces. How is it that
he, and only he can see the result of his
masterpiece, even before his initial steps to
make it happen? Why is it that no matter
how hard I continuously try to envision his end
result, that only he can -- and then only he
creates?
He
candidly supplied me with the answer of how he
first, envisions his desired result. After
picturing exactly what it is that he wants, he
outlines or sketches his creation. Next, he
innovatively details the picture with relentless
energy. His imagination, his ideas become
tangible, become real even before his hand, or
his brush hits the canvas. Wow -- I
thought, what a gift from God to be able to
create something from nothing!
Perhaps
you are in a place in your life where your
lifes canvas is blank and void. You
are not where you wish to be in life. You
do not have the things in life that you desire.
Do this
-- take a moment and imagine your unique
possibilities. Imagine that you are where
you want to be in life. Imagine that you
are who God has purposed for you to be. Do
you see it? Come on, envision yourself
being who you want to be and doing what you want
to do to create that purposeful and fulfilling
life.
Now, take this image and
create your substance. Create your
substance by relentlessly taking the necessary
steps to have what you want and to be who you are
-- SOMETHING -- Gods masterpiece.

Think About It!!
Hebrews
11:1 - Now faith is being sure of what we
hope for and certain of what we do not see.
Men
often become what they believe themselves to be.
If I believe I cannot do something, it makes me
incapable of doing it. But when I believe I
can, then I acquire the ability to do it even if
I didn't have it in the beginning. --Mahatma
Gandhi
Faith
is taking the first step even when you don't see
the whole staircase. -- Martin Luther King,
Jr.
Faith
is affirming success before it comes. Faith is
making claims to victory before it is achieved.
--Robert Schuller
Faith is an
invisible and invincible magnet, and attracts to
itself whatever it fervently desires and calmly
and persistently expects. --Ralph W. Trine
