As the CEO of Purposefully Living Coaching & Christian Counseling, I am dedicated to empowering individuals to discover and live out their God-given purpose. My mission is to bring hope to the hopeless, healing to the emotionally bruised, joy to the saddened heart, and freedom to the captive.

Affectionately known as “Ma,” I am a wife, mother of two, grandmother of four children and one grand-dog and auntie for over 100 nieces and nephews.

I am a Certified Intervention Life Coach and have been recognized as a five-time Best Speaker with Toastmasters International. With over 29 years of experience facilitating retreats, I have worked with a diverse range of individuals and settings, addressing issues such as depression, anxiety, and traumatic life events.

My academic journey includes a PhD in Clinical Pastoral Counseling from Colorado Theological Seminary, an MA in Biblical Counseling from Master’s International University of Divinity, and an MA in Professional Counseling from Liberty University.

Coaching is my passion and purpose—it’s my “heart-work.” With over a decade of experience as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, I specialize in Christian counseling, mental health support, youth guidance, and crisis intervention. I also serve as the Youth Director and Christian Counselor at the Come As You Are Evangelistic Center in Aberdeen, NC.

Passionate about Purposeful Living, I am the author of “This Call is for You! It’s God,” a book that guides readers towards answering God’s call and fulfilling His purpose in their lives. I have also authored numerous articles featured on this website.

Inspired by the song my mother often sings and frequently quoted by Martin Luther King, Jr.: “If I can help somebody as I pass along, If I can cheer somebody with a word or song, If I can show somebody he’s traveling wrong, then my living will not be in vain.” These lyrics resonate deeply with how I approach life and my work.
